VAIKASI AMAVASYA SHANI JAYANTI HOMAM & CHANDI HOMAM - 06.06.24
In Vedic astrology, the position of Shani (Saturn) in the birth chart is often associated with challenges in personal relationships, such as difficult separations from parents, spouses, or friends. A conjunction of Shani with Shukra Graha (Venus) typically results in separation from the husband. However, when Shani is favorably placed, it bestows qualities like deep knowledge, sensitivity, wisdom, justice, broad intellect, honesty, patience, and a strong work ethic. A well-positioned Shani can bring prosperity, fortune, and longevity.
Conversely, a malefic Shani position (Neecha Shani) can lead to traits such as sadism, selfishness, indolence, dishonesty, fearfulness, irresponsibility, and addiction. It brings about obstruction, delay, grief, poverty, and even death. Affected individuals might face loneliness, hostility, theft, lawsuits, incarceration, chronic ailments, and long-lasting sorrow.
Shani Preeti Homam on Shani Jayanti Day (06.06.24 Amavasya)
The Shani Preeti Homam is performed to mitigate Saturn's negative effects. Individuals experiencing difficulties due to Elarai Shani, Astama Shani, Shani Dasa, Shani Bhukti, or malefic Shani in their birth chart are encouraged to perform Sankalpa and seek blessings from Shani Dev.
Shani Puranic Mantra:
Nilanjana samabhasam raviputram yamagrajam
Chaya martanda sambhutam tam namami shanaishcharam
Those who wish to Contribute Sahasranama Archana in a Puranic Agneeshwara Temple (Shani Sthalam) Can add Rs.500/- Per Person.
Chandi Navakshari Homam on Amavasya
The Chandi Homam is typically performed during Navratri or on auspicious days such as Ashtami, Navami, Chaturdasi, Magha, Amavasya, Jyeshta Amavasya, Chaitra, Karthika, or Pournami. The ritual begins with the installation of Goddess Chandi's idol alongside Lord Ganesha's, followed by a Ganapati Pooja to seek blessings.
This Homam is recommended for individuals with planetary afflictions, victims of evil spells, curses, black magic, or negative energy, or those fearing death or having committed sins. It is believed to bring success, victory over enemies, and relief from Doshas. Particularly significant for followers of Shaktism, it underscores the supreme power of the goddess.
